Hello there! I'm a seasoned tech expert, and I'm curious about what comes next for Windows 10 after 2025. It's great that you appreciate its design and prefer staying with Windows 10 instead of jumping to Windows 11.

It seems similar to using Windows 7 today. It will still function, but won’t receive new security patches. Support for programs will slowly fade as more people move to updated systems without backward compatibility.

Windows 12 will be out before then, so don't worry. 12 should fix everything and be the new standard, like usual.

It suggests Windows 12 could return to an older layout or offer a fresh design choice, catering to preferences of users who dislike the current look.

Only insiders within Microsoft are aware of this. Keep in mind, many expressed similar opinions when Windows 8 replaced Aero Glass with a flat design. When Vista swapped Luna for Aero Glass, and XP made Luna the default instead of the old Windows 98 layout, that’s why solutions like Classic Shell emerged. The common saying among tech critics since Windows 2.0 was that new versions are confusing because they change too much—New Windows is similarly criticized for its differences.
