You were puzzled by strange performance issues, thinking Windows was the problem but discovered a low CPU score after using 3D Mark. Your BIOS confirmed all CPUs are active, and the system settings listed six cores, leaving you confused. Seeking advice to resolve this.

I don't have a motherboard, but I can help you find information about it if you tell me your system requirements or what you're building.

It seems he hasn't rebooted yet, which is key. You can also choose Normal startup, click OK, and restart right away so Windows can detect all cores. @Dukedog2001 Your image displays only 3 cores and 6 threads. Your processor supports 8 cores and 16 threads. I hope you can locate the missing ones. Did this hard drive come from an older machine? What model CPU did you have? You might have disabled part of it without realizing it.

Did you restart the system? It seems to function properly now. If issues persist, review your BIOS settings—cores may be turned off there.

If your BIOS setup appears fine, you can test by booting a Linux distribution from a USB drive and observing the system monitor to gauge the number of detected threads. This helps identify whether the problem lies with Windows or another component.

All eight issues are resolved and functioning properly. The 3D model achieved excellent CPU performance, reaching the low 4K range.
