I am submitting this ticket referencing a prior instance where a resolution was not achieved, and I am seeking an update. I purchased Rainbow Six Siege through Steam; it is a game developed by Ubisoft. Consequently, when playing, both Steam and Uplay operate concurrently in the background, which appears highly inefficient. My request is to unlink my Steam account from my Ubisoft account and directly initiate the game via Uplay – eliminating the need for Steam. Alternatively, if unlinking isn't feasible, I request a data transfer to Ubisoft, removing Steam’s involvement entirely. I sincerely hope you comprehend my situation. This appears needlessly complicated! It’s clear that either Steam or Ubisoft is demonstrating a lack of initiative. While I appreciate Steam and Ubisoft, this configuration lacks logical coherence. This concern pertains solely to PC gaming platforms; it isn't related to Xbox or PlayStation. Can assistance be provided? If not, I request escalation to your “administrator” or relevant department. The capability to implement this solution undoubtedly exists. I am aware that other users have encountered a similar predicament… That concludes my statement; I do not intend to engage in political debates – merely expressing my viewpoint. Had I known both platforms would run simultaneously, I would have purchased the game directly from Ubisoft. Has anyone identified a viable remedy for this issue?

Contacting Ubisoft directly seems pointless, unfortunately. It's best to simply make a phone call to them. Pursuing support through tickets is generally unproductive. I’ve encountered comparable problems with Electronic Arts – after numerous unsuccessful ticket requests, I was forced to deregister my PlayStation account, and eventually, I connected with a representative who resolved the issue for me.

Could you please elaborate on your question regarding the issue? It is unnecessary to prioritize performance in this instance.

Uninstalling Ubisoft and Steam is proving difficult; there doesn't appear to be much recourse. Attempting to contact Ubisoft directly seems futile, as support tickets are ineffective. I’ve encountered comparable problems with Electronic Arts, necessitating the unlinking of my PlayStation account before numerous failed attempts at obtaining assistance ultimately resulted in a dedicated representative resolving the issue.
