I have a Mac Pro 5,1 with a Radeon VII and an AMD 7950 graphics card for the boot screen. After installing Kubuntu, everything works fine on my monitors. Once I install it to the hard drive and reboot, I see all the splash screens but lose the display from my 7950 when I restart. The fans also increase to maximum. I've tried using the same setup with KDE Neon too, and still faced issues. The amdpro drivers didn't help either. Any advice?

Can you verify the temperatures in any manner? It seems like overheating could occur if the screen shuts down.
