Hey! I was checking my new PC with some games and noticed my GPU usage stayed consistently above 60%. That dropped my FPS below many benchmarks I saw online, even though I used nearly the same system. I'm playing at 1080p without any DLSR. The online tests gave 100-130 FPS at ultra settings, while my local performance was only 45-60 FPS. It seems unusual. Another odd thing is that my FPS stays similar whether I switch to medium or ultra graphics. When I look at the GPU stats, it's using less than 50% of its capacity all the time. I've set the power plan to performance and enabled power-saving features, but nothing changed. DLSS is active, XMP 2.0 is applied, and temperatures for both CPU and GPU are normal. I'm not sure what else to try to fix this. It doesn't look like a CPU issue since my CPU usage never reaches 100%, and benchmarks didn't show any bottleneck. I've attached a screenshot of the game showing low CPU and GPU usage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Running on a single channel memory is causing issues. Switching to dual channel should likely resolve the problem.

You're right to consider this! The difference between single-channel and dual-channel RAM can definitely impact performance, especially at higher frame rates like 40-60fps. It's a factor worth exploring if you're looking for better results without breaking the bank.

Typically the performance gap is noticeable, though not as pronounced as here. Cyberpunk seems to focus on optimization, which might explain why memory usage plays a bigger role. The high CPU activity while GPU remains idle and changes in settings don’t significantly affect performance also suggest the issue lies with the CPU or RAM.

It's worth noting that using a single-channel RAM is generally discouraged in today's setups... But it sacrifices roughly 10% speed. Unless the connection has extremely poor delays and isn't a standard 16-18-18-38.

THE CPU'S PERFORMANCE ISN'T LIMITED JUST BY THE GAME LOAD. IT DEPENDS ON SOFTWARE EFFICIENCY AND CORE USAGE. SINGLECORE AND IPC CORE STRENGTH REMAIN CRUCIAL FOR CONSISTENT RESULTS. CYBERPUNK2077 TYPICALLY DRAWS MORE POWER THAN OTHER GAMES ABOVE 60-90FPS, MAKING RAM CONSTRAINTS A BIGGER ISSUE. THIS HEAVIER TITLE OFTEN REQUIRES MORE SYSRAM ACCESS, WHICH CAN HINDER OVERALL SPEED.
