Currently it works surprisingly well at 720p with low settings, no AA and around 35fps. It feels like console mode. I’m amazed how integrated graphics are handling newer titles. This could be a real demonstration that high performance doesn’t require a $1000 PC. You can play modern games on an i5 4670k without much extra hardware. I know there’s been much discussion about integrated graphics, but this is my first attempt at running demanding games on them—it’s actually quite engaging.

It's really frustrating that such a powerful chip like the Intel HD4600 can't keep up, yet they still market it as revolutionary. The Xbone and PS4 seem to handle it well, which makes the claim even more surprising.

It could work for Bioshock Infinite but not for Watch Dogs.

The game was only usable with the most problematic patch.

Adjusting a few more options still lets it run smoothly on most servers. It maintains around 30 FPS generally, though windowed, fullscreen and borderless modes show some odd behavior. It performs better than a 360 and the PS3. A 250 CPU’s graphics can’t match the cheaper consoles that are often sold at a discount.

My laptop runs an i5 2450M and handles Skyrim smoothly at medium settings. It works great for travel use.

Playable means it can be enjoyed or used, not at 30fps.
