A 1080 owner can definitely experience high-quality multiplayer FPS at 4K in BF1. The reviews I've seen online come from trusted places and usually focus on single-player performance rather than real-world gameplay.

Observe that the video resolution scale is configured at 42% in the menu, but during beta it was 100%. In the current live version it defaults to 100%, which is the accurate setting.
