Running at 1066
I recently installed a new computer and just completed the setup. When I ran cpu-z to verify everything was working properly, I found that my RAM was only operating at 1066MHz. My system has a Ryzen 5 2600, an MSI B450 Tomahawk motherboard, and 16GB (2 x 8) TridentZ Neo RAM. I checked the BIOS and enabled XMP profile 2, which on my board is set to 3600MHz. Although it’s unlikely my board supports that speed, I was hoping for at least 3200MHz. I’m a bit let down since the RAM can’t reach its rated speed because of system limitations, but I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance. Thank you.
