Running a server on my PC unexpectedly cuts off my internet connection.
The problem began when I started running servers such as Terraria, Minecraft, and others. Initially, everything worked without issues, but over time my PC would suddenly lose internet access while phones, tablets, and laptops remained connected. This disruption forces me to restart my PC and re-launch the servers repeatedly. I’m unsure whether the issue lies with my Windows PC or if it’s related to router settings.
The port forwarding doesn't affect this because it's only about the protocol, not the physical layer. As @manikyath pointed out, Windows should handle permission issues without interference. If reinstalling network drivers doesn't help, try using a wlan adapter temporarily to test if your LAN interface works properly on the hardware side.
