Hello everyone, I’m seeking some guidance. This has never happened before. If I power on my PC without using the internal hard drive—even though the OS is installed on the SSD—I won’t boot and see the error message: “Boot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.” I’m puzzled because I installed the OS on my PC several years ago onto the SSD. I verified the Mini Tool Partition, which lists both drives as active and bootable. Can you help me understand why it doesn’t start? Thank you.

This happens since you previously installed Windows using a hard drive with the boot sector already present. The installation doesn't generate a fresh boot unless it detects one on the existing storage.
