I previously owned the 4070s. I’ve been using dual monitors with them. I upgraded to the 5080. (Galax) When I power on with both monitors connected, the PC becomes unresponsive. It won’t boot. Let’s say Monitor A is connected and Monitor B is plugged in; if I disconnect Monitor A but keep Monitor B active, it works. Conversely, if I disconnect Monitor B while keeping Monitor A connected, it also works. At first, I assumed the issue was with the cables. I changed from DP2.0 to DP2.1, but that didn’t fix the problem. Now, after driver updates that need a restart, I have to unplug one monitor, restart the PC, and then plug it back in. Need assistance.

Current Nvidia driver version is 576.40, updated on May 12th. Your monitors include ASUS PG32UQXR, Asus ROG PG248QP, and Asus ROG PG32UCDM. The latest update aims to resolve the black screen issue during startup.

I don't think it's connected to the drivers. As I said, if I start with just one monitor, I can boot without any problems. So even with a PG32UQXR, I wouldn't be stuck on a single screen, right? But this isn't happening. It only occurs with a dual monitor configuration. Both are LG-27GR83Q models.

There have been numerous driver problems with Nvidia recently, such as black screens during startup and compatibility issues with multiple monitors. It might be worthwhile to check the newest drivers.

Hey there! The updated driver resolved the problem. Lol, I've faced this since the very first day of the 5080 launch version 576.40*.

Nvidia's drivers have been problematic recently, particularly for high-end cards. However, improvements are expected over time.
