My RTX 3060 sometimes loses connection to the monitor, often showing purple Pixley distortions near the bottom left. I still hear background sounds and can interact with what was shown. Occasionally it drops completely when an app runs, especially during heavy screen changes like launching Minecraft. Restarting or reinstalling drivers fixes it temporarily, but it returns after days. I also notice the monitor and card are limited to 30Hz even though the display claims 60Hz. I’m unsure if this is related or separate from the first issue, which I prefer to keep at 30fps. My system has an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores, 3.59 GHz), 31.9GB RAM, and a GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GPU with 3840x2160 resolution. The monitor is GForce compatible but runs at HDMI, and I’ve had replacement cards with the same problems. The rest of my rig functions normally with the old card.

Use a different monitor and cable for testing.

Apologies for the delayed reply. I attempted a display port cable, and now my monitor supports the advertised 60Hz. Still unsure if this resolved the disconnection issue, as it might have been affected by the random disconnecting problem. I'll check again later and update the post accordingly.

The device has remained stable after 12 days of use without any disconnecting issues. This thread is now marked as completed.
