Hello, Are you seeing any display at all or is it just showing the BIOS logo before going dark? Do you have a debug LED still lit on the motherboard (located above the 24 pins)? Also, please note that the 9700k won't fully utilize the 5080's capabilities and will run at full speed most of the time. I know someone who uses a 9900KS (the fastest chip on that platform) and a 4080 Super—it still faces challenges. Be careful with that. But it doesn't clarify the display issue, though it should still function.
It's completely missing the display, even the BIOS. Looking at the debug LED, I see the VGA light is on. I understand the 9700k will be a major bottleneck, upgrading to the 5080 is just the beginning. I'm planning to get a 9800x3d with DDR5 RAM and a new motherboard in a few months, but that depends on the CPU price dropping slightly.
Not available in the US, but accessible in Europe through a limited effort. Online shops had them ready in about 30 minutes. Even though it costs more than buying locally, I thought it was better to purchase now at the lowest price instead of waiting six months.
I don't have a power supply unit. Could you clarify what you're asking about?
