Checking the pcpartpicker link explains why I need to repaste my CPU to remove or reinstall the GPU. I thought I could still try this, especially since an RMA approval would likely require taking the GPU out. The results were impressive at 2.21 FPS. I’ve already spent nearly a month without a GPU during my first RMA request, so I’m confident it won’t cause issues afterward. I can run stress tests or keep a 3D app running for hours, though I’m not sure it will trigger a crash.

It seems everything is clearly pointing to the GPU now.

Hey! I see you're dealing with a tough setup. Have you thought about checking the BIOS updates? Also, make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Sometimes old drivers can cause issues. You mentioned using a 1200W PSU with a display showing actual output—double-check that it's not misreporting power. If everything else works fine, try booting into safe mode to see if the crash happens there. Let me know what you find!

Did you verify the PSU cable? It could be damaged or not functioning properly. Consider swapping it for a different one or re-seating the cable if your PSU is modular.

It's quite a joke that the error clearly points to RAM, not the GPU. Imagine swapping in two sticks just for the sake of it—trident z!
