Hi,
I recently purchased an MSI Ventus 3fan RTX 4060ti and connected it with my i7 8700, 8GB RAM, H310 motherboard, 1TB hard drive, 512GB SSD, and CV750 power supply. I mainly play Apex Legends and CS:GO.
Before that, I had a GTX 1050ti which gave me around 70-80 FPS on Apex Legends at 720p. After upgrading my GPU, the performance hasn’t improved at all. The same applies to all the games I’ve tried. Could there be an issue and any possible solutions?

Could you attempt the game at a higher resolution and let me know how it performs?

1080p i get around 50-60fps in apex legends which is same as my old 1050ti. Even though if its a bottleneck it should atleast give a little higher fps right ?

This PC is likely using a single RAM module. You have options:
A) Install another RAM stick, but you'll be testing compatibility (not advised).
B) Purchase a dual-RAM kit with 16 or 32GB, which could be beneficial. Selling the single stick might also be an option.
The RAM setup also influences CPU core performance. If any CPU core was previously at full capacity, the impact of the new card would be minimal. The GPU's speed is limited by the amount of data being sent to it.

I borrowed my friend's 8gb ram and used dual channel. I could ALT + TAB fast, but there was no fps boost. Later I returned the stick. I reinstalled the game but it didn't help.

The problem could lie with your monitor. Verify the cable and version; a 720 monitor likely can't handle more than 75 fps input, suggesting the issue isn't with the GPU but the display itself.

When observing the sky I see a high number, but during gameplay in the center my FPS drops to 70-90.

it appears the cpu bottleneck is noticeable at lower resolutions, suggesting the issue lies more with the cpu rather than the gpu.
