I recently purchased an Inno3D RTX 4060 with 8GB video memory at a fairly affordable price and thought about selling it. However, due to the economic situation in my country, demand appears to be minimal and few people are interested.
I’m thinking about using the GPU for personal purposes, but there’s a concern.
The recommended power supply for this GPU is 550 watts, but I only have a 520W 80 plus bronze PSU. I also looked online and calculated that around 500 watts would be needed.
Here are my current PC specifications:
Core i5 10400f
16GB DDR4
1TB 7200 RPM HDD
520W Seasonic 80 Plus Bronze (pic added)
GTX 1050ti
Running the PC at high performance – how safe is it? Any risk of damaging my components if I switch the GPU?

No, I wouldn't use that PSU with an RTX4060, even if it were brand new. It wouldn't fit well in your existing setup.
How are you managing to reach 500 watts required, rather than something like 300 which is the TDP of your PC with the 4060?
The 4060 only contributes around 40 watts.
Adjust your PSU is an older model but I’d still use it and don’t have any concerns about it.
