I was gaming COD MW3 on PC when it suddenly stopped posting. The GPU lit up red, fans spun, but no RGB or lighting. After resetting the BIOS, USB issues fixed and now the GPU won’t power on. Hardware: RTX 3090 Ti, EK waterblock cooling, AMD Ryzen 9 5950x, 32GB G.Skill CL14 RAM, Samsung 980 Pro SSD, EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 power supply, Lian Li O11 case.
It's working, so the power supply unit inside is likely a standard one.
On the motherboard, when any of the EZ Debug lights, such as VGA, are lit red, it indicates a problem with the GPU.
Verify all power connectors are secure, focusing on the GPU connections.
It only mentioned several error codes like 15, 14 D6, and B8. After updating the BIOS, those messages disappeared. Still, the display didn’t post and the red light wasn’t showing. I remember the GPU’s RGB lights were on before the update.
