I've constructed multiple PCs before and never faced this issue. I assembled everything and powered it on for the first time, but the monitor shows a black screen with occasional static. Removing the GPU and using integrated graphics resolves the problem. I’ve rechecked all connections—CPU, RAM, GPU, SSD, power cables—and confirmed the GPU is properly seated in its PCIe slot. BIOS updates and CMOS clearing didn’t help. I’ve swapped out different motherboards (MSI MEG Z690I, ASRock Z690 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB4), tried various MBs, and even returned the GPU for a replacement. The issue remains consistent across setups.

I'm experiencing the same problem consistently with this specific GPU and monitor setup. The frustration is intense. Testing on different displays hasn't resolved it, suggesting a DisplayPort-related issue rather than a display malfunction.

You managed to resolve the issue partially. At first, I suspected the cards wouldn't work on that motherboard, but the original poster tried two different models. Later, I realized the problem might be with the graphics card itself. The original poster also tried two units. Now I’m considering switching to a different adapter and cable—like another display port or HDMI 2.1. If that fails, I’ll look at a compatible MSI board from a partner.

I couldn't resolve the problem yet. It only appears during startup, disappears after Windows loads, and reappears only on the next reboot. I'm not sure what's going wrong. My Asus Prime z690-A still shows this behavior. I've switched to a different display adapter and used another monitor (not an HDR model like the LG Ultra Gear), but it doesn't recognize the new one. The HDMI 1080p worked, but the 4K version didn't. I'm thinking the issue might be related to 4K.
