It might already work by swapping out the fans. I’m just suggesting replacing the entire shroud for safety. The main challenge would be locating a new one, but they should be available at AliExpress at a reasonable price. P.S.: Another option is using two Noctua fans with zip ties—it’s a quick fix. This isn’t too complicated at all.
By now the GPU remains in the repair facility. They've informed me they swapped out all parts linked to fan speed, tried various BIOS versions and even made some custom ones, but nothing resolved the problem. Recently they claimed the issue was fixed, yet the next day I received a message saying it reappeared. They also mentioned they don’t understand what’s wrong with the GPU—everything appears normal, but the fan keeps acting up and they seem likely to send it back without a solution. P.S. another fan performed the same issue.
the gpu returned from the repair shop and it appears the fan was defective, so a replacement was installed which fixed the problem. however, based on recent discussions I've heard, there are many possible causes for fan issues—ranging from driver problems to hardware damage or pcb defects. Please note there are numerous reasons why fans might fail, and staying informed is key. thank you all for your responses to this topic.
