RTX 3080 upgrade ?
I'm not sure if a video card will support 165Hz. Battlefield 6 appears to be quite CPU-bound. HUB conducted some tests and found that a 9700X and 265K struggled to maintain 165 FPS with a 5090. You're more likely to hit 165 FPS+ with the 3080 and a faster CPU than the 5070 Ti, depending on your current setup. Upscaling might ease the GPU workload, but your performance will still be constrained by your CPU's capabilities.
Your system should work well with the 5070 Ti, offering noticeable improvement under GPU limitations. Identifying whether the bottleneck is CPU or GPU is crucial for the right upgrade decision.
Exactly what kind of RAM are you using? How many sticks, what MHz, what latency? 16 GB only indicates the total amount.
Other tests were conducted using a 9800X3D, which operates significantly more efficiently than your CPU.

The 4070 in the test matches your 3080 (only with RT 4070 it performs better).
I would avoid the RTX 5070 TI and opt for a Ryzen 7 9700x instead. Battlefield 6 clearly benefits from a powerful CPU and ample RAM.
During testing, at 1440p with quality upscaling and both high and low settings, using my 5800X3D, I achieved nearly identical FPS. The higher settings generally resulted in slightly lower numbers. I haven’t seen FPS exceed 160 on any map, though I wasn’t conducting a formal benchmark. Most often I observed between 100 and 130 fps.
