CPU model: Intel Core i7-10700K GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 ti XC3 Ultra PSU: EVGA Supernova 750w Mainboard: ASUS Prime z490-a RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengance LPX 3600Mhz OS: Windows 10 Pro Initially, please forgive my language. I switched from GTX1080 to a 3080ti and hoped for better performance, but my situation has been quite challenging and unsatisfactory over the last few days. I've tested various solutions, yet nothing seems to resolve the issue. My setup includes a 1080p 240Hz monitor and a 4K TV for gameplay. Games seem to function adequately in 4K but not in 1080p. I notice a discrepancy in frame rates: for instance, CSGO averages around 200 fps, Apex 200-220 fps, Warzone 110-130 fps, and Battlefield 4 160 fps. Some games are set to low settings or have DDSL enabled, yet improvement is minimal, often only about 20 fps. I've seen YouTube clips showing similar configurations achieving higher speeds, such as around 80 fps. The only title matching my setup is Cyberpunk. I've tried a clean system reset, reinstalling Windows and all drivers from scratch, using DDU to uninstall drivers, adjusting Windows performance settings and NVIDIA controls. GPU temperature is about 80°C, CPU around 60°C. I'm hoping someone can assist me and provide any relevant guidance. Appreciate your help!

Cyberpunk performs smoothly in both 1080p and 4K resolutions. At 4K without an RTX, it runs at roughly 45-50fps, achieving quality at 60-80fps with DSLR settings. Power consumption is near 99% in 1080p depending on the area, but stays around 90-120fps without an RTX and DSLR. GPU utilization sits around 85% in CSGO, while Battlefield 4 uses about 60% of the GPU power. I’m using two different PCIe cables for my GPU.

It's similar to how CSGO works. When I played it, my 980ti ran at half speed but I was getting better FPS at the highest settings than that. Have you experimented with higher settings at 1080p to check if it affects FPS? It might just mean your CPU is too constrained at lower resolutions.

I also used maximum settings, yet frame rates remain roughly unchanged. No noticeable change compared to lower levels.

New GPUs sometimes lag in older titles, requiring driver updates to reach optimal performance. Fresh games typically function properly. Nvidia evaluates their hardware using synthetic tests, which helps identify if your GPU meets expectations. To check your setup, try Port Royal or Time Spy—they display average scores that reflect real-world performance. For CPU testing, run Cinebench R20. You own an EVGA XC3 Ultra; it’s paired with a 5800x, which needs overclocking to improve. There are issues with Cyberpunk, showing identical frame rates whether you use RT or not. In contrast, raytraced frames doubled in Control, suggesting the problem lies with the game itself.

I have a i9 9900k and it has about the same performance as an i7 10700k. Right now it is at stock but for most of its life it had a 5ghz all core overclock. 5ghz is a performance plateau for these CPUs and it shows up most on 1080p gaming. This is something up. I just tested csgo and I average about 350fps with everything turned up.
