Rtx 2070 OC issue resolved by applying MSI AFTERBURNER post-use
Maybe I made a simple error, I tried the OC option in the program. After about 20 minutes I see some changes, then I test it and everything works fine. The issue is setting the OC frequency to 1890 MHz, while the card’s default is 1400/1650 MHz. It sounds okay for boosting, but I notice random frozen screens. So I decide to revert back to the default settings, follow the tutorial to reset the bottom, and uninstall the program. But this value still stays high even when under heavy loads, no matter what other software I use. I’m getting frustrated, close to formatting and starting from scratch with Windows 10, but before that I wonder if there’s another way to recover the default value?
In Afterburner there are three buttons. The middle one should return to the default setting, but you also need to press the right button to manage the settings changes.
