Hi. I have 2 issues with my Gigabyte Z590 Gaming X mainboard. 1. When I install RST driver, during restart OS disks (HDD) shutdown and start again. I can hear when disks stops and start again. On default Windows driver for installation disks work ok. I tried I think everything, different disks, different sata cables, change sata ports, reinstall OS, install lots of different version of drivers. Could someone who has the same mainboard or mainboard with the same chipset to check with HDD if exist problem like mine? 2. Second issue - when I disconnect cable hdmi/DP from monitor I have 5 beeps. Is it normal. I wrote to intel and gigabyte. Intel try to find an issue, waiting for results, gigabyte answer always after 2 weeks so contact is a bit difficult. I hope you can help me or maybe tell what to do. Regards Kris

This process resets all controllers, including your storage devices. HDDs aren't solid-state and require time to initialize. I avoid letting my drives idle, so they don’t have to wait for a spin-up. My WD Greens are known for excellent power efficiency, though they can sometimes be a bit tricky to manage.

This happens because the default Windows driver is always active during reboot disks, preventing it from stopping and restarting again.
