Looking for the most discreet method to connect cables between corners without passing through walls? I need to link an Ethernet cable from one room corner to the diagonally opposite spot. Any suggestions?

Thank you! Just confirming, it's hard to predict what others might suggest.

Running it along the baseboard should make it fairly hidden.

Consider installing it above the ceiling if a drop ceiling exists, otherwise proceed as planned.

I suggested taking out the baseboard and creating a small area for the cable before putting it back in place. This seems like a balanced solution. For those curious about alternatives, I recommend looking up "cable routing" on Amazon to explore options that consider baseboards. It might be worth checking if there are pre-designed routes tailored for that purpose.

You can purchase parts of conduit and lay them over the top of the baseboard. My dad used this method when installing a TV, and it turned out quite well.

You can buy baseboards that have cable channels in them. No need to diy. Or there is pvc square "conduit" that is sized for ethernet cables. I use it to go over a door. Vhb tape to the wall, paint to match.

No DIY required. Simply obtain some conduits. Notice the eight cables along the wall. Let me know if you can identify them.
