Hi! With the TP-Link TL-WR840N V6 and enabled Wi-Fi repeater mode, your bandwidth control should still work. The repeater setting won’t block your bandwidth options. Let me know if you need more details!

It should turn it off. Like in repeater mode, it disables the router function. Basically, it just repeats your Wi-Fi without any other features.
