Hello there, I’m reaching out for guidance on my Wi-Fi router. It sometimes functions well but then stutters every few hours before shutting down completely. After about five minutes, the connection restarts automatically. This happens with the modem (front or back).

Please note that the "DLS" light flashes during this phase. The front LED array shows Power, DSL, Internet, LAN. The back port array displays DLS, FXS1, FXS2, LAN 1 to 4, Reset, USB, and Power. Bold indicates the active port.

Important points:
- This is my second router after similar issues before this one
- Restarting, removing power, or doing nothing leads to the same outcome
- Internet comes back after roughly five minutes, but the problem lingers later
- Location: Central Europe

Anyone have suggestions or insights on what might be causing this? Thanks in advance.

Have you thought about setting up your own router for wireless connections and turning off Wi-Fi on your ISP modem? Many budget wireless devices fail when pushed hard because they run out of memory. This problem rarely affects Ethernet setups.

The interface appears to require a complete system restart. It shows FXS-related actions on an unused port along with flickering power. Could you confirm the exact model? You might swap it for one supporting ADSL2+ or a comparable standard if you understand the PPPoE credentials.

Thanks for the guidance. I'll explore a web GUI if possible, but a technician from your ISP will arrive soon, so I'll switch to my own router as a backup. Have a great day!
