Hi everyone, I'm experiencing an issue where my router is getting internet, but the 2.4/5GHz wireless isn't working properly. Ethernet is functioning correctly, but I'm unsure why the Wi-Fi is down. WiFi has been sporadically unstable for a few days, and it suddenly stopped working yesterday. My partner relies on home internet and would appreciate a stable connection. Any advice or assistance would be really helpful.

Which router model are you using? Is it available through your internet service provider? Have you attempted to restart it by power cycling? (Turn it off and then back on. Sometimes this simple step helps.)

Start with a reboot. Do you have a wifi/modem combo box from your ISP? If yes, I’d contact customer service. It’s probably just faulty and they should fix it for free, eliminating the monthly rental charge they impose.
