Hey! I tried to move to my dad's place but the Wi-Fi was downstairs while I was upstairs. I have a TP-Link router nearby and wanted to know if I could use it as an extender. Could you help me figure this out? If yes, I’d appreciate a guide or link. Thanks! P.S.: Model TD-W8961N

It looks like a typical modem or router. A sufficiently long Ethernet cable can be used to link it to the first router and function as a secondary Wi-Fi access point.
