I'm looking for a router that works well with your Comcast internet. You use Twitch and gaming, and you pay for speeds up to 650Mbps and 20Mbps. The one they provided isn't stable, so let me help you find a better option.

First, I’d check out their CNET article about Comcast’s 2020 plans for Wi-Fi 6 Xfinity XFi routers. A major upgrade is expected, offering better stability and speeds to meet your needs. Reaching out to their Tech Support with a clear reason—like being a Twitch streamer who needs more reliable performance—could help push for the necessary changes.

The box Comcast provided functions as an Internet Gateway, meaning you'll need to switch it into bridge mode while continuing to pay the rental or purchase a separate modem. For routers, I recommend the Synology RT2600AC. Although it's quite pricey, it supports Gigabit internet, which is rare among devices.
