My ISP released an update to my router/modem with unclear patch information. After installation, my printer (Canon I-Sensys 633cdw) stopped connecting to the router or other APs. It eventually worked after a delay of 30 to 60 minutes, which isn’t ideal. I’ve tried various methods: used WPS, set up a new network with an old router, created a separate Wi-Fi network with another Asus AP, reset the printer’s settings, forced it to get a free IP, and even disabled IPv6. None of these worked. It seems the update might have altered settings or features, but without clear documentation, it’s hard to pinpoint the issue. Full patch details include fixes for 2.4GHz WiFi, UI improvements, and network extension tools.
