I’m searching for a suitable ROM (firmware) for my child’s LY-2020-01 Android tablet, which was previously installed with:
System: EXdroid4.4.2_r2-33-2.1
CPU: Allwinner A33 (quad-core Cortex-A7)
RAM: 512MB DDR3
Screen size: 1024×600 (7-inch touchscreen, vertical)
Storage: 8GB NAND flash
Operating system: Android KitKat 4.4.2 (EXdroid skin)

Additional details include:
Motherboard / Build.prop (lost after reset, possibly a33-q8-v1.5 or a23-a70H)
Touchscreen IC: likely ft5x06 or gt9xx
Power source: internal lithium battery, charged via micro-USB with 5V/2A adapter
Device age: about 1.5 years, mostly unused recently
Storage: currently empty after factory reset and failed flash attempts
Peripherals: USB connection to PC via PhoenixSuit for updates, built-in front camera (works on some variants), speakers and headphone jack, no external devices
Network: only Wi-Fi available; internal RTL8723BS used
🤔 Why am I trying to flash a ROM?
The original Android system became corrupted after a reset—possibly due to misconfigured NAND or boot issues. The tablet is stuck at startup or blank, making a fresh ROM the best solution for recovery.

ROMs previously tested:
- 20151008_a0733r_5.1os_512M_1024X600_autoCam_6gs – booted but screen upside-down, touch inaccurate
- A33-1024x600-T74ER-android4.4-KVT49L-20150627-test-keys – currently testing
- Others – generally fail to boot or remain on logo

Issue: Certain A33 ROMs show an upside-down display and misaligned touch input. This is likely caused by incorrect display or touch driver orientation (possibly mismatched sys_config.fex). These devices commonly use:
FT5x06, GT9xx, GSL3680 touchscreen ICs
1024×600 vertical LCDs
Display orientation may be set wrong in bootloader or kernel config

Help needed:
- Identifying the correct ROM or firmware for LY-2020-01/EXdroid 4.4.2
- Adjusting or modifying an existing A33 ROM to fix:
• Screen rotation
• Touch alignment
• Preferably targeting Android 4.4.x or lightweight 5.1.1 versions
