After many deliberations, I thought about purchasing a Z690 MB, specifically an ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-A Gaming Wi-Fi D4. From what I've observed, it features silver accents on the VRM, chipset, and M.2 heatsinks, with most parts made of white plastic. My concern is whether this plastic will degrade or develop a yellowish tint over time. Honestly, the ROG STRIX Z690-A D4 looks outstanding and would be a great fit for my upcoming custom build, which I plan to have soon under the Midnight-Stealth Silver theme. P.S. I'm aware there are other Z690 boards that are affordable but often support only DDR5, while the B660 is more budget-friendly but offers poor connectivity at its price point, and the H610 is not worth discussing. I already own an MSI B460 Tomahawk for daily gaming, so don't judge me—I chose to stick with a Z690 platform.
