I assembled a PC yesterday using these parts: NZXT H510 ROG Strix X570-E Gaming Ryzen 9 5900x iCue H100i elite Capellix EVGA RTX 3060 dual Full Modular RM850x 80+Gold. The problem I’m facing is still unresolved. This is my first build and I’m completely stuck. The Q-LED on the MOBO shows a DRAM issue. The first RAM I purchased was a Vengeance RGB Pro SL 32GB 3600MHz C18 1.35V, but the machine won’t boot and the LED never changed when checking DRAM. I switched to a new set: Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200MHz C16 1.35V Ver. 4.32, which matches my QVL for this MOBO. Still no improvement with the QLED lights. I’m unsure what I should do next. I don’t know what to inspect or test. I’ve tried one stick and two sticks. Changed slots, reset CLRTC, removed battery in MOBO and reinstalled. Still confused. Please help me out!

The processor could be faulty because the memory controller is built into the CPU itself. The connectors might also fail to connect properly if they are bent or damaged.

I understand it doesn't really matter, but I just pulled it straight out of the box. I also returned it and everything looks okay on the pin side—no bends or damage.

Consider attempting a BIOS flashback; your UEFI release might not yet support Ryzen 5000 CPUs. Check the manual E15826_ROG_STRIX_X570-E_GAMING_UM_v2_WEB.pdf (asus.com), locate the 2.2 BIOS Update Utility around page 49, and carry out the needed steps using a USB 2.0 drive.
