Hello, Your new PC is running well with the Rog Strix x570-e board. You’ve installed Windows 10, set up drivers, and used it for a few weeks. A friend suggested overclocking the RAM, but whenever you try to enter BIOS it just restarts to Windows. You checked "Del," "F2," "F8" in the manual and some forums, but nothing worked. Also tried changing UEFI settings with Windows 10 without success. Restarting back to Windows is your only option. Anyone else experienced this problem with this motherboard?
Initially many messages showed up, including spam from F2 and F8, but pressing F12 and DEL got you straight to the login screen. Any further suggestions?
Check your keyboard and see if you've tested various ports. Some motherboards require a specific BIOS setting before recognizing certain keyboards. My K70 Lux uses a BIOS mode for this reason, so some mobos work immediately on boot while others need manual configuration.
The BIOS FLBK button is used to access the firmware settings or reset options during the system startup.
BIOS FLBK allows updating without a memory or CPU. Do not press it. Try clearing the CMOS first, then let us know if the issue continues.
It was late when trying to wrap this up. It seems unclear why it became a problem, but I was sending video output through a Toshiba dynadock and then to my monitors. After taking it out of the equation, I could access the BIOS easily. Thanks for your assistance.
