Consider possible causes for the choppy performance in GTA V. It might be related to your hardware setup or system load. Even with a strong Ryzen 3700X and 3060 Ti, older games like this one can struggle if other processes are using resources. Also, ensure you have enough RAM and check for background applications that could be slowing things down.

The code isn’t optimized well, causing reduced GPU and CPU activity and lower frame rates. This occurs under specific conditions—especially when loading or starting the game. It may begin right at entry, not just after some time.

It could be a background process such as RGB software or NZXT CAM.

I don't feel that way. My idle CPU and RAM consumption is just 2% with 10 GB RAM on a 32 GB system.

What's happening is unusual—your system seems to be using very little CPU while still having a lot of memory available. This could indicate background processes or background tasks running without noticeable impact.
