Rocket League - Thoughts?
Watched Angry Joe's commentary on the game and found it quite enjoyable. It seems to be a lot of fun with a reasonable cost around $20. If anyone has played it, what are your thoughts? It seems like good value for about twenty dollars. Thanks! MEC.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've been watching a lot of Japanese content on Twitch (www.twitch.com/ItmeJP) along with Angry Joe's review. It looks really interesting. The game has straightforward controls, easy to pick up, but challenging to master. I'm curious about trying it soon, but from what I understand, forming a three-player team via Skype or voice chat would be ideal.
If you have time, it’s super enjoyable and hitting targets feels amazing. However, I’m not sure if it’s worth $20 unless there’s a sale. But with $20 available, it probably won’t be a waste.
It sounds like a nice experience. I enjoyed playing a similar gametype during the custom games days in Halo 3. However, it feels too straightforward for a $20 title. I can see the cost at around $5, so I’m willing to buy it if that’s the price. Yet $20 seems high for a game with just one main mode.
Absolutely planning to try it out. Just not at the 20€ price. I played the game before Rocket League (Supersonic acrobatic rocket-powered battlecars) and really enjoyed it. But now I think they’ve just changed the old version and added more car customization options. The maps also seem retextured, along with the vehicles. Still, it offers improvements over the original—especially with better multiplayer features compared to the single server setup of the past. Honestly, 20€ feels a bit high for a retexture, but I’m hoping it drops to 25 or 50% during a sale on Steam eventually.
