I'm curious about connecting your controls to the G27 kit. You mentioned adjusting the in-car balance via the wheel paddles and mapping other functions to wheel buttons—sounds like a solid plan! Let me know if you need more details. Thanks!

You can link keys to it, though I believe it doesn't accommodate the wheel.

I believe the degree of accuracy needed isn't sufficient.

hmmm. I wonder if there is a program that disguises the wheel as just a joystick on a xbox 360 controller or whatever. I might just buy it and see how it goes. Its only like $15 canadian, so I wont be losing to much

Consider using only the Logitech Profiler.

Are shifers digital rather than optical? It would be the same as with a keyboard. Getting the right calibration for a single click might not justify the benefits.

It could be entertaining as a trick, kind of like using a flight controller with a mouse, just for fun. However, you wouldn't be able to respond quickly enough to stay competitive.

I believe racing wheels in a racing game differ significantly from flight sticks in an FPS game.

Opt for Logitech's controller instead—it was around $15 before, and the trouble of setting up the mouse isn't worth it for gameplay.

You'd need to carefully position yourself and use the right equipment to capture the aerial shots effectively.
