Hello! Your PC's Windows Update is causing some issues, so you're choosing to perform a reset via Settings. I understand it mentions app removal, but I'm curious—will it also delete your applications from other locations besides C:\? Or are the apps on other drives safe? Thanks!

They won't remove the files, but they won't function until you reinstall them after a "refresh."

Don't try to reset it without figuring out the issue first. When Windows updates fail, start by scanning for malware. I'll run a malwarebytes threat scan with rootkit detection turned on (found in settings). https://www.malwarebytes.com Then launch an admin command prompt and execute these commands: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth sfc /scannow
