Hello everyone. I own an old Sony Vaio VGC-VA1 workstation. I'm attempting to run Windows 10 on it. The motherboard is a standard Vaio board, and the socket is 775. I'm looking for more details about CPU compatibility. My current processor is Pentium D, but it seems to be failing after installation—always at 100%. I managed to upgrade to 3GB RAM instead of the original 2GB, and it works fine now. I'm trying to find compatible RAM sticks, possibly 2x2GB, so I can test further. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!
