It’s not guaranteed that a board will indicate a faulty CPU if it’s still in a sleep mode after a restart. Two possible solutions are a BIOS refresh, restoring an earlier version, or a flash update. This is entirely an ASUS concern, not a problem with the AMD chip itself. They’re now pointing to the memory kit I have from the QVL as the cause. The same kit I used previously for the B550D4 and X570-E was originally tested on this CPU. As a small IT consultant, I was installing custom, reliable components for an office project and usually stick with the Asrock Rack line—either the X570 or B550 models. Someone on our network noticed a Pro B550M-C board from our wholesaler and ordered one to test for future clients. We sell a lot of 5600G boards because they offer excellent value for long-term business performance.
