You're considering dual booting Ubuntu on your Windows 7 system. There are some risks involved—especially without a backup, as losing important data could be costly and time-consuming. It’s wise to back up your PC before proceeding. As for organizing files, there are tools that can help streamline the process without requiring deep technical knowledge.

Alright, so I think I’ll need an external drive or skip dual booting altogether. Or I might just take the chance and go with it.

It doesn't matter whether you use dual booting or backing up your data—if you really value it, make sure to protect it. Have you considered using a virtual machine?

I don't save anything. Kind of forget about it, okay? (It's tough to locate all those torrents again, right?)

Lol, I’m not torrenting anymore. Too tired to deal with my ISP anyway. Even just needing a VPN would be enough.

I used to be that way too, but now Telus is available. Before, I would only download movies when they were released on DVD.
