I own a 5600x, an asus prime x570-p csm board. I added the RAM which would allow 4400 at cl20 max but I’m unsure what’s safe. I’ve been getting anxious. I have a 650w gold psu.

Ram speed becomes inconsistent above 4000 MHz. For most Ryzen processors, stable performance usually stops at around 3800 MHz. Beyond that point, you need to disconnect the infinity fabric clock because they’re interdependent. Essentially, stick to 3600 MHz for better stability and reliability.

It might function, but based on what I understand, it doesn’t really add much value since performance doesn’t improve linearly with RAM speed. You’re unlikely to see significant gains in terms of speed. Usually, if you aim for extreme overclocking—like 4800 or 5000—an Intel platform would be a better choice. A higher-end board from a manufacturer like ASUS would also be advantageous.

Likely won't reach 4800. My 5600X exceeds 4500, and the 5900X will hit 4400, but little value remains after desync. I didn't test stability much once I saw the numbers. Such fast RAM is typical for Intel.

Even with the ability to reduce infinity fabric for quicker RAM performance, this could raise latency, which isn't advisable.

To achieve optimal performance, your FCLK must run at 2000 or higher. This will result in latency around the low 60s to high 50s. Reads and copies should increase significantly, while writes will also rise slightly. That single CCD won't make much difference.

4533 at cl 18 24 24 44 seems to be functioning properly. I’m not really concerned about minor differences except for transfer rates, which are small and don’t matter much to me as a gamer.

Is it reliable? You should try it yourself to determine if it's worth using. Allocate some time, gain a bit of knowledge.
