The title clearly conveys the message. If you disagree, share your thoughts on what you think is the top MMO other than Blade and Soul. Remember, Blade and Soul isn't an option for you because of its poor optimization and performance issues.

I'm sure someone will be disappointed to see this, but WoW is definitely my top pick. It doesn't require advanced specs (my E6410 with an NVS 3100M can handle it) and still gives a great look.

I've been playing a lot of Blade and Soul lately, though I wouldn't say it's the best. It's actually pretty solid, with no performance problems and a decent setup. Rift worked for a while but got outdated quickly. Tera was great when I had company, but once they stopped playing, I lost interest. I've always disliked WoW, especially the visuals. GW1 was my favorite before they released GW2 and completely ruined the first one.

I enjoy gw2, but I'm not playing it right now due to university commitments.

I tried 3 characters at the highest level, but that was a long time ago. It was enjoyable and competitive with the Bard, though now it's free-to-play.

I played this for a while as a Nightblade Rogue (PVE) and Riftstalker/Nightblade in PVP. It stands out among games where I favored PVP over PVE and appreciated the ranking system. I reached PvP rank 9 (probably) and earned the "Colonel" title, often taking down many bosses. The game was great, especially with its challenging builds and healing armor options. It felt like a solid experience, though I stopped due to work and friends leaving. At its core, it's essentially World of Warcraft—always a top choice, even if it wasn't as polished back then. Many games try to be unique or too similar; I enjoyed the depth of customization in TBC/WotLK and how some classes were difficult to master. Now it's just a matter of clicking the glowing button for many classes to perform well without deep knowledge.

If you're interested in playing an MMO, consider trying it out on trial or opting for a free version. Personally, I think it's best to give the game a chance yourself, as you'll be investing a lot of time in your character, especially on platforms like PvE.

The top MMO seems to be WoW, even though WoD isn't great. The best free option is Tera. I really like the combat in RaiderZ. Vindictus is entertaining, but P2W content feels a bit low. Aion offers a solid generic WoW alternative. GW2 works well, and ESO is decent despite its poor launch.

I only played a few games, and WoW is the best in my opinion. It's been around a long time, but playing MMO alone is boring for me. That's why I quit after a month.
