RGX x570-f 4-pin power supply
RGX x570-f 4-pin power supply
I own an ASUS ROG X570-F. It features both an 8-pin power connector and a 4-pin power connector. Using just the 8-pin connection with the PC works, but connecting the 4-pin makes it fail to turn on at all. Is there an issue?
It should function perfectly using an 8-pin connector, but it can also work with 8+4-pin as well. The issue might be related to the motherboard or power supply unit, though if you're not too concerned, it's probably nothing to worry about.
Your system should work fine with only the 8-pin LGA 1700 socket, as Ryzen 7 3700X supports that connection.
