Are there compatible RGB motherboards for an LGA 1151 socket with an i7-9700k CPU?
IIRC SignalRGB relies heavily on OpenRGB’s backend, which supports a wider range of motherboards than what’s listed. I wouldn’t rely solely on the OpenRGB list, though it’s a sensible starting point. You can always fall back to using OpenRGB if SignalRGB isn’t compatible.
This setup looks solid overall, but unless you're purchasing it at a very discounted price, it's probably smarter to upgrade your CPU too—especially with the 12th generation Intel. You're either landing on a pretty expensive new board (hard to find one for that price), or you'll end up buying a used one, which will cost over $200. If you sell your current CPU for around $150, you have about $350 left to invest in a new CPU and motherboard. With that budget, you can choose between a 5600 with B550 or a Gigabyte B660 Gaming X DDR4 paired with an i5 12400F—both offer much better performance and should work well with SignalRGB.
I'm not claiming it doesn't exist, but the current used board costs don't seem logical, and combining a CPU upgrade with other changes could save money.
