Rgb help
I need some guidance on connecting your infinity fans and RGB components together using a single L-Connect. The setup includes multiple fans, an AIO with swapped fans, a 36GB NVMe SSD, and a few RGB lights. You mentioned using a hub for the fans and possibly the AIO, but you're unsure about the best configuration. Also, you have a Phanteks DRGB hub with SATA power and need help figuring out where to plug everything in without overcomplicating things. I'm trying to keep it simple and want clear instructions so I can get this working smoothly.
It's been seven years now, and the GPU shortage has only made things more complicated. It seems like everyone is trying to sync through L connect, which isn't really the main issue. I'm struggling to figure out how to connect everything properly to the motherboard so all the RGB slots are working correctly and have enough space for all the extra components. Back then, RGB was easier when fans were always on.
Only two jrainbows are available on the msi force z690, but I assumed corsair could only work with corsair hubs... or maybe that's incorrect? The fans include three lian li infinity units for top mount aio, one sl120 uni for back exhaust, three side-mounting infinity fans, three ground-mounted infinity fans, the galahad aio, front rgb, three fan strips, and both the gpu backplate and support have argb plugs—so there are three on the co troller plus the galahad and front argb connectors. That leaves five argb ports, plus the sl120 uni fan, leaving just one jrainbow and one usb. Or maybe I should only connect one lian li fan hub to a jrainbow and usb, then use the hub for the other port, and connect the phanteks drgb hub via a splitter or something? I’m still confused, but I’m hoping it’s simpler than I think.
