Open RGB triggered continuous USB disconnection noises! After removing unnecessary software from my PC, including the MSI RGB controls for the RGB lights, everything seemed to function normally. I was planning to use OpenRGB and set the board colors manually. However, the issue arose right away—motherboard and fan indicators stopped instantly, and the USB disconnect sound repeated several times before stopping. At that moment, the motherboard settings disappeared from OpenRGB, making it impossible to restore anything.

I removed OpenRGB and reinstalled the MSI Light Control. I attempted to apply a new light pattern in the MSI program, but nothing worked. The USB disconnect sound continued.

Update: I turned off all sounds in Windows as a temporary fix, though typing is still very slow and other issues remain unclear.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! I believe your registry might be misconfigured for the operating system. Could you check if a system restore is possible up to the time before you installed Open RGB? Also, could you share the make and model of your motherboard? Even though you mentioned using MSI's RGB app, it seems like you're referring to MSI's Center app instead.

There is a firmware update available for the LED controller, should you have missed it or need to install it.

I performed a system restore and the issue persists. Keyboard input appears to be working better now.

I think you either need to perform SFC /Scannow...but if that fails, you might want to reinstall your OS, in offline mode, then install all relevant drivers in an elevated command(white offline) and then connect to the internet.
Here's a guide you can follow;

I managed to get through most of it, but at the end when you try to restore health or source:e: sources in install.esd, it says sources can't be found.

Do you have any thoughts on what you can do? I'm feeling really stuck right now.
