I’m focusing on other upgrades instead. Upgrading from the R5 5600 to an R9 5900X would mean keeping my DDR4 memory, since I don’t need more RAM right now.

Lexar RAM is interesting because it runs the clone version of G.Skill software, just packaged differently. I own two units bought for 175CAD each, but they were already priced higher on Amazon before disappearing. DDR4 was still affordable at Newegg.ca recently, and I also have several units in stock. I even keep spare parts around. These kinds of threads remind me I’m a bit of a hoarder. Plus, there’s a lot of high-end DDR3 and DDR2 available too—just kidding, I get it!
