Have you tried the latest NFS 2016? Does the Always Online feature irritate you? How does it feel? - NFS:UG/UG2, NFS:MW, NFSTongueroStreet, NFS:Rivals ???

Hey, I almost didn’t think about this game. I really thought I’d give it a shot, but maybe I just didn’t. Still, from what I heard, I shouldn’t be too surprised.

Well ever since prostreet came out (and that's me being nice to carbon...), all NFS released after are complete garbage...that's my opinion obviously but RIP NFS... (this is a little bit of a rant: why would they ever name that garbage that came out in 2012 NFSMW? It doesn't deserve to hold that name Only the original NFSMW that came out in 2005 deserves to hold the name most wanted ;-Wink

I own the game and finished it. Based on the time invested, I’d rate it around 6 out of 10. The plot is interesting but could improve. A few bugs remain to be addressed.

I initially thought it was about Network File Shares. It was a bit sad when I played Rivals, but it wasn't too bad. I wasn't really focused on the race-based objectives. The cops had to stop the criminals, and the criminals needed to win a race while being chased or just escape the police.

I first tried NFS:HP2. The version I liked most was a split between NFS:UG2 and NFS:MW, with MW being my favorite and UG2 the best. My last game was NFS:MW12—really terrible. The one I actually played was NFS: The Run; it wasn’t bad, but it felt different. Maybe without the NFS name it could be more interesting as a standalone title. I’m thinking I’ll skip that one too.

My perspective is... terrible. It runs poorly, controls are sloppy, the car looks bad, the acting is disappointing, the live-action is subpar, and the map is flawed. I really don’t feel good about buying this game. Consider downloading NFS U2 and adding a texture mod instead.

I also enjoy playing NSF:UG2 using a registry modification at 1440p native resolution, it doesn’t appear to require texture modifications, and the game runs smoothly without issues.

I do agree, it holds very well. But I found a texture overhaul about a year ago which just gave it a nicer look for me. Just higher resolution stuff. I don't think we will ever get another NFS game like it sadly. I'm holding out for the next burnout game now.
