RMA cleared the check and they're sending a replacement part. The 5600x works well as a temporary fix. You won't even notice the change during regular tasks like browsing the web. I need to compare my project build times using this process versus the new 5950x once it arrives.

Replacement part received. Packaging updated and ready to install. Skipped gaming sessions with the 5600x, but tested it on my project build—clocked 2:09 across multiple runs. Switching to the 5950x reduced time to 1:34. Likely about 25% faster for roughly double the cores. Surprised it didn’t slow down much. I mainly use these cores for running VMs rather than software builds.
